Listener

A listener is a logical entity that allows users to listen to incidents sent from monitoring tools and send alerts to concerned members on their Galarm app. You can configure the order in which the members of your organization should be alerted when a certain incident happens. You will link the listener to a monitoring tool that is monitoring a part of your infrastructure. You can name the listener based on the service/infrastructure that it is monitoring. When an alarm is generated from a listener, the name of the listener is used in the alarm name. Hence, choosing a suitable name for a listener is an important exercise.
